How to Use Project Templates
Set-Up Your Project Template
Project templates can be created and edited by anyone in your company with Condoit access. You can start making and using these immediately.
- Create a project in Condoit. (View Mobile or Web App project creation instructions.)
- Complete fields that will be consistent, at least regularly. For example, indicate the surface type for the install.
- Recommended: Add help text in fields to assist site walk auditors. For example, in General Notes include a summary of key pieces of equipment to capture or a refined scope for the project
- Optional: Create a base SLD. This is a great scenario if you have multiple projects with similar as-built equipment and/or likely future designs.
- Example: My projects will likely have two existing EV chargers and there is a likely need that two more will need to be installed.
- Example: My projects only require a few key pieces of equipment to be captured. Since I'll generally be sending my sales team out for data collection, I want to make it super easy for them to see what equipment needs to be captured and just update the specs.
- Save the project. Recommend adding "TEMPLATE" to the start of the project name for easy sorting and searching.
Creating a Project from a Project Template
- Open the TEMPLATE project on the Web App.
- Duplicate the project.
- Update the the site address, assignee, and any other fields that are applicable to the project.
